About
Hi GES Family! I began my career as a school counselor at Gilbert Primary School in 2017 and continued my career here when the school expanded to Gilbert Elementary in 2020. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Joshua! We have a son and a daughter together and as a family, we enjoy spending time outside, traveling to new places and going to CLEMSON FOOTBALL games. Go TIGERS! Being a school counselor is my passion and I am so thankful that I get to make a difference in the lives of children each and every day.

About
I was delighted to join the GES counseling staff, as part-time school counselor, for the 21-22 school year with such a warm welcome from staff, students and families. During the 2024-2025 school year, I transitioned to a full-time position here at GES! I have 40+ years in education with my career beginning in Lexington County School District One and returning last year to the area. I continue to have a passion for education and supporting our students.
On a personal note, my husband and I enjoy going to the beach, the mountains and just sitting at the lake. We have 2 adult children who are married and the joy of 3 grandchildren. Looking forward to another wonderful year with the Gilbert Elementary Family!
