Mission:

The mission of the Gilbert Elementary School Counseling Department is to provide a developmentally appropriate and comprehensive school counseling program that addresses the academic, social, emotional, and career awareness needs of ALL learners.

About

Hi GES Family! I began my career as a school counselor at Gilbert Primary School in 2017 and continued my career here when the school expanded to Gilbert Elementary in 2020. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Joshua! We have a son and a daughter together and as a family, we enjoy spending time outside, traveling to new places and going to CLEMSON FOOTBALL games. Go TIGERS! Being a school counselor is my passion and I am so thankful that I get to make a difference in the lives of children each and every day.

Hello Scouts! My name is Holly Warren & I am honored to serve as a School Counselor at Gilbert Elementary! My goal is to empower each student to achieve personal, academic, & social success that will bolster their self-confidence at school & beyond! I spend my days conducting individual counseling sessions, engaging in classroom & small group lessons, & connecting students & their families with vital community resources.

My husband's name is Matt & together we have 4 kids: Livi (18), Brooks (17), Landon (15), & Abby (13). We have a golden retriever named Ruby & 2 goats named Chewie & Obi (yes, they're named after Star Wars characters). While we spend the majority of our time cheering on our kids in their sports & activities, we also enjoy playing pickleball, watching movies, & traveling to support our favorite teams (Clemson & the Atlanta Braves).

About

This is my first year as a school counselor, and I am thrilled to be part of the Lexington District One community! My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where every child feels seen, supported, and valued. As a bilingual school counselor, I am excited to serve and connect with students and families in both English and Spanish.

This summer, I happily married my husband, Moises. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, listening to true crime podcasts, reading, and exploring different cuisines. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting your family throughout the school year!
