2nd Grade Transition Night

On Thursday, April 12 the 2nd graders from Gilbert Primary School will take a field trip to see Gilbert Elementary School. They will be lead on a tour by some of our 5th grade student ambassadors. During the evening they will have the opportunity to bring their parents to see our school and hear about the exciting adventure that awaits them when they arrive in third grade. We hope to meet many of our upcoming students and families that evening.

Field Day Coming Soon

Field Day will be held on Friday, March 30 this year for all grade levels. The students will have scheduled times to come outside and enjoy the planned activities. Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for physical movement and for the weather. We are looking forward to a fun day of exercise and good sportmanship.

GES Family Center Page on Facebook

Families can follow the GES Family Center Page on Facebook for school news and events; parenting tips and techniques; and other relevant and valuable information. For example, today we are highlighting the article referenced by Dr. Little about how to talk to children about disturbing news in response to the Florida school shooting. In March, we will be featuring short videos and tips on parenting techniques to teach the concept of responsibility to our children. Each month will focus on a different technique to empower our families to make the most of the opportunities they have to teach their children.
Thank you for your interest.
