Candlelight Lunch 2017

The students at Gilbert Elementary School were treated to a special holiday meal on Monday, December 18. They feasted on turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce and apple cobbler. While they ate they were serenaded with festive holiday music by Mrs. Graham and her band, along with other administrators and staff. The afternoon was quite enjoyable.

The GES Green Team needs clean grocery bags for an upcoming project they will be doing to help the community. Please send in as many plastic grocery bags as you can. Your student can place them in the big box underneath the stairwell in the 3rd grade hall. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome Dr. Little

Dr. Little came to visit Gilbert Elementary School last week. His first stop was to be interviewed by the morning news show crew. They did an excellent job perfecting their interviewing skills. The students learned a bit more about Dr. Little in the process.

Then Dr. Little and Mr. Branham toured the school and visited every classroom. The children were delighted to show what they were learning. We hope Dr. Little will visit again soon.
