Parent Orientation Nights

On Thursday, September 7 the third grade teachers will have a parent orientation night from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. The fourth and fifth grade teachers will have their orientation night on Tuesday, September 12 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. The orientation sessions will begin in the cafeteria with the administrative staff. Then the parents will be dismissed to the homeroom classes. We know these sessions will be informative and we are hoping to see many families those nights.

Running to Raise Money

The GES PTO is sponsoring our annual Boosterthon Fun Run to help raise funds for student field trips. The opening Pep Rally will be on Wednesday, August 30. Be sure to ask your children for the information they received that day. The website will be open for pledges beginning that evening. The more pledges your child can accumulate, the more prizes he or she will receive. Throughout the week the children will attend huddles with the Boosterthon Team to learn about character education and team spirit. The students will end their learning and pledge drive with a FUN RUN on Friday, September 8. Be on the lookout for more information about this event.

All Boosterthon Monies are Due Thursday, September 21

The Learning Season Is Up and Running!
